Hello everyone,hope everyone is good.Without wasting time let's continue reading this article. I wanted to write about something,a problem that everyone faces , but not given importance.(at least by some people, I think)

So in today’s blog, we are going to see one of the problems that people face widely in today’s modern world, stress. I think everyone, literally, everyone faces this problem, from students in schools and colleges to the working people in their respective offices. So let’s start from the basics.

But before that I would like to tell you somethings this is just for an educational purpose,I am not a doctor or someone with a medical background, I wrote this post to make the readers understand what is stress, what can stress cause, and some basic information.

    1)INTRODUCTION-what is stress?

    I know it looks like this and I have felt it

    First of all, stress is the body's way of reacting to certain situations and makes us more alert in those situations. you may think stress happens only in the mind but it has effects on our whole body.

    Feeling like something in your stomach, jumpy, cranky, headache and hard to concentrate well it may be stress. Stress can be both physical and mental , if the stress is experienced for a long time and becomes uncontrollable it is called chronic stress which is harmful, so in this blog, we will see about what is stress, its symptoms, and some methods to overcome it.


    When we are placed in stressful situations a small part of our brain called the hypothalamus sets an alarm in our body,it is a combination of the nervous and hormonal signals. This pumps our adrenal gland and secretes adrenaline and cortisol.


    Adrenal increases heartbeat elevates blood pressure and boosts energy supplies. Cortisol, also known as the primary stress hormone increases the sugar and glucose in our blood.

    This is called stress response and this helps us in critical situations. This enhances our performance under stress and helps us to concentrate. The problem is that the body cannot always reset on its own to normal conditions.

    So if our body is constantly under pressure we may face health problems.

    2)What are the types of stress?

    Wondering whether stress has types. That’s the exact same thing I was thinking about. There are 2 main stress types they are called as

    • ACUTE STRESS

    • CHRONIC STRESS

    Acute stress

    It is one of the common types of stress and the least damaging one. It is an immediate reaction to a threat and can be experienced in our daily life , it is said to be thrilling. Some example of it are the stress that you face when you are in an interview. like other things it is also not good when it crosses its limit.

    Chronic stress

    This is not like the one that you saw above it is a prolonged stress that can negatively affect our body if it is not treated. it is caused by everyday stress like family problems, work pressure, or any other traumatizing situations. 

    3)REASONS FOR STRESS


    some of the top sources and the main causes of are stress are

    1. MONEY
    2. JOB PRESSURE
    3. HEALTH
    4. MEDIA OVERLOAD
    5. RELATIONSHIP
    6. POOR NUTRITION
    7. LACK OF SLEEP
    8. DEATH OF LOVED ONES
    9. DIVORCE

    These are some of the top stress factors in everyone's life.




    4)HOW DOES STRESS AFFECT OUR BODY?

    Let's FIND OUT.


    Too much stress can cause illness or worsen our illness very severe which includes heart diseases and diabetes.Now let us look at the effects in our body


    1. HEART - IT increases our heart rate, blood pressure and even cholesterol as you may know it can even cause blood clots in our body and leads to heart attack .


    2.LUNGS - During stress, our rate of breathing is increased which sometimes cause hyperventilating, that is the abnormal increase in the rate of breathing which can cause panic attacks, asthma, and also COPD


    3.DIGESTIVE SYSTEM -stress can cause over -eating which leads to weight gain.


    4.SKIN- If you already have any skin diseases it can worsen your diseases and sometimes can also cause skin diseases like ECZEMA ,PSORIASIS and other such diseases .


    5.LIVER - when we are in stress our blood sugar level increases and unused blood sugar is reabsorbed by our body in normal situation but in chronic stress our body m,ay not keep up with the extra glucose
    and increase the risk of type 2 diabetes


    5)Advantages of stress



    If you are wondering “what , it has advantages?” yes, it has its advantages now lets look at some of the advantages of stress.

    It can help us do work and other kinds of activities efficiently it can also improve our memory and it can help us to do our work .

    As mentioned above stress is a way of body’s reaction towards certain situations eg danger. During dangerous circumstances it produces the flight or fight response in our body which can cause a different types of reactions that sharpens our focus to avoid danger like jumping from a car that is about to hit you on your way home.

    But like wise people like to say “too much of anything is good for nothing” the same thing applies here too.


    6)What are the Effects or symptoms of stress ?



    Now let's talk about the effects of stress or symptoms of stress.

    Some common effects include

    1. Headaches

    2. Body pain

    3. Falling sick every now and then

    4. Having trouble to sleep or lack of sleep

    5. Bad digestion

    6. Skin looks worse

    7. Slow healing of wounds

    8. Dizziness and many others.

    7)MANAGE AND REDUCTION OF STRESS


    Now we are going to see some ways to reduce stress by simple and proven methods.

    The first method is to exercise frequently when we exercise our brain produces endomorphine which makes us feel that we are in control and are natural pain relievers . Basically stress happens because we think thay we are not in control.So it is best to exercise or to do yoga whenever we are in stress
    stress happens not due to the event but the way that we look at it so please try to look any situation in a positive way 

    Plan your day organize your work and everything you want to do in this way you know what to do and when to do,so you feel everything in control.

    Get more rest,a sleep of 7.5 hours is good and proper a healthy diet.

    Do the activity you like the ,most like singing or dancing to reduce stress
    Meditate to reduce stress it is also a good way to reduce stress

    Go out and be in the nature or take a walk it increases your energy and makes you feel good and comfortable it boosts your state of well being.

    And the best advice is to ask for help to friends or family .Speak with them and ask for help or consult a doctor to reduce stress . SO this is it thank you for reading .Stay calm stay out of stress and live a healthy life.

    8)MY VIEWS


    I hope this post would have given you some insight on what is stress, what can stress do ,and some other basic information. Like mentioned at the beginning of this blog I am just giving basic information. My view is about the people that search their symptoms in google instead of going to actual doctors.


    It is said that in some countries 2 out of 5 people search their symptoms in google instead of going to doctors . they become convinced that they have some serious untreatable disease (which they don’t have)
    So my humble request is that please consult a doctor instead of googling the symptoms yourself and coming to a misconception of having a fatal disorder that you don’t have.


    They come to this wrong conclusion because certain types of diseases sometimes have same type of symptoms. So it is always best to consult a doctor before coming to any judgement because I believe that maximum no of diseases can be cured at the beginning stages if treated properly .


    9)CONCLUSION


    Stress can causes serious problems if it is not controlled .It is important that we control stress and take care of it before it can cause any serious damages to us both mentally and physically .
    But it is not all that difficult to get rid of stress. You just got to believe it and and have a positive attitude towards life .


    I know I am not a doctor or a stress expert but you know I felt like writing it because I know what it is to be in stress and I am pretty sure that every student and every human being undergoes stress ,and I'm pretty sure that your reaction would be like this. But you know I felt like telling that since I am under pressure like literally now.so goodbye and stay away from stress and have a beautiful and wonderful life.
